The Omicron Beta Chapter attended the annual Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and Lymphoma in Wildwood, NJ, in September
2009.
The Omicron Beta Chapter attended Founder's Day on October 25th, 2009 at the Woodbine Inn in Pennsauken,
NJ.
The Omicron Beta Chapter held the 4th Annual So You Think You
Can Dance competition in Stockton's PAC theatre on November 24, 2009! Over $1000 was raised and
the Chapter made donations to our national philanthropies The Starkey Hearing
Foundation and The Painted Turtle and the Delta Zeta Foundation. The Delta Zeta
Foundation contribution included a donation in memory of Lindsay Hancock (04), a DZ OB Sister who entered the Flame Eternal
in 2006. A donation was also made to the Vera King Farris Scholarship
Foundation at Stockton College in memory of Dr. Farris.
The Omicron Beta Chapter celebrated 20 years on
campus with an Anniversary Luncheon at Savoy Caterers in Pennsauken, New Jersey, on Sunday, February 21, 2010!
Sharing the special day with current Chapter members, Spring 2010 New Members, and OB alumnae were special guests Founding
Sisters Kim Jaffee Prado, Amanda Minger Thomas, Laurie Mitchell Simpson, Dawn DiDonato Sabo, Jacqueline Granski, Stacey
Fabiano Semco, NoreenTarbous McCarthy, Theresa Brigliadoro Herbst and Anna Giglio DeNardo; National
Advisor and past national officer Charlotte Fields Silversteen; National Constitution & Bylaws Standing Committee
Chairman and past national officer Anne Marie Jones Gavin; South Jersey Alumnae Chapter President Jackie Taylor
McClure and College Chapter Director Barbara Patzuk Horner. Displays included 20 years of composites,
banners, scrapbooks, T-shirts, the Family Tree Book, and a display of original documents from the Chapter's Founding. The
program included a brief history of what's been happening at Stockton and in Delta Zeta as a national organization for
the past 20 years; a reading of congratulatory notes from Region 2 Delta Zeta Chapters and Delta Zeta regional,
area and national officers. A donation commemorating this event was made to the Delta Zeta Foundation. The
day was great fun and very inspirational! We were all thrilled to be a part of this special milestone and celebrate
together across the years and across the miles the lifetime bond of Delta Zeta sisterhood & friendship!
Some of our Sisterhood activities for the
2009-2010 school year included a jewelry party, a hibachi dinner, movie night, ice skating, a Super Bowl party and a ski trip
to the Pocono Mountains!

at the Radisson Hotel in Valley Forge, PA:
The Omicron Beta Chapter was among the recipients of the award for Oustanding Academic
Achievement for maintaining a grade point average above the All Sorority Average!
Rachael McFadden, the Chapter's Historian/Chaplain, was the recipient
of a Delta Zeta Golden Heart Award! The Golden Heart Award recognizes the Sister who has contributed significantly to
the Chapter through her Delta Zeta spirit and willingness to serve her Sisters.

Chapter Treasurer Michelle Horowitz was the recipient of a Delta Zeta Golden Crest Award! The Golden Crest Award
recognizes an officer or chairman who has displayed exceptional qualities and has performed her responsibilities above and
beyond her call of duty.
